As last time, our friends at Sekai Project is trying to help this project get greenlit as well.
From the author of Spice and Wolf, Isuna Hasekura, comes WORLD END ECONOMiCA. The opening video features music by Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets, known for the opening songs for High School of the Dead and Strike the Blood.
A three part visual novel set in the far future on the moon, 16 years after humans have begun to colonize it. A young boy named Haru has been chasing his wildest dream. His dream is to stand where no man has stood before, and in order to do so he needs capital, a ludicrous amount of capital. What better place to get that amount of capital by using the stock market? There are two key rules that govern the stock market.
The first rule: Never take a loss.
The second rule: Never forget the first.
Only those who follow these rules are able to obtain enormous wealth…
I saw the Madoka movie. It exceeded my expectations and then some. It was even dumber than I ever thought it would be. If Madoka gets an S2, please look forward to 20min Morning Rescue and Babyshiba commercials.
As a follow up to yesterday’s post, Elsa is voiced by Idina Menzel who was also the original Elphaba in Wicked. (Btw, I quit fansubbing months ago. I have a full time normal person job and Jaka has been running the show for a very long time now. I now use a MacBook, drink coffee, go to office parties, only play ARAM and cell phone games, and don’t see the issue of spending hundreds of dollars on clothes/shoes. Growing up is truly scary as fuck. RIP koda.)
Hi everyone. A few months ago we subbed the Anime Mirai 2013 project Little Witch Academia by studio Trigger. As Trigger later posted Little Witch Academia on YouTube with subtitles due to buzz from the fansub, we are obviously very egotistical and self-important people. Anyway, recently at Anime Expo, Trigger expressed interest in making a second episode of Little Witch Academia and a Kickstarter has been created to fund it. If you have a minimum of $1 to spare and enjoyed Little Witch Academia (and know how to press buttons on Kickstarter), we encourage you to donate.
Greetings everyone. I haven’t posted here in a while. Here’s your torrent.
[16:21] <jaka> describing relationships isn’t my strong suit
[16:21] <~Sona> jaka are you a virgin
[16:22] <jaka> that’s a rather personal question to ask!
[16:22] <@fnord_disc> can we focus on translating chinese cartoons please
> Let jaka release Henneko as gg
> He v2d it 5 seconds later
> He still messed up the chapters (in the v2)
> He still hasn’t re-encoded Sazae-san
> He’s holding a recruitment drive except I’m the one talking to applicants
> Edit: v2 Titan too v3.
As I’m sure all of you are aware by now, Jaka is a complete moron.
Sazae-san is 30 fps. He encoded it as 23 fps.
Titan’s audio came out mono instead of stereo. Don’t even ask me how. (This one is even funnier because he tried loading the audio to time the episode and got fucked up audio so he worked around that and it didn’t cross his mind that the audio was broken.)
[13:48] <@Mango-chan> wow
[13:48] <@Mango-chan> i haven’t reencoded audio in like 2 years
Hey you there, anime watcher. Are you bored with nothing to watch? Can you figure out what British people are saying? (Unlike Dez… who had to watch Dr Who with Brazilian subtitles?) Try watching Broadchurch. Yeah.
Hi folks. Here’s the next of the young animator 1shots, Death Billiards, which was animated by Madhouse. They brought you classics such as Monster, TokiKake, Akagi, Perfect Blue, Kaiji, Redline, Kaiba, Cardcaptor Sakura and……………… High School of the Dead.
There didn’t seem to be much hype for any other Anime Mirai shorts (one of them is by GONZO, the other is about FAIRY MECHS) so the translator will just have to get around to them whenever he has the time.
